Michael Janiak

  • B.S. Physical Education: Brockport State
  • Founder of One-on-One Fitness Program at the Track and Racquet Club in 1998: one of the 3 original Personal Trainers in the Syracuse Area!
  • Over 25,000 hours in personal training experience as well as teaching and coaching at the Junior High and High School level.

As a Nationally Ranked Racquet Ball Player, Mike has traveled the country learning conditioning skills from the best Fitness Experts. This experience earned Mike a 2 year teaching stint at the Prestigious Steve Strandemo Racquet Ball Academy in San Diego, California. While in San Diego, Mike started the Personal Training Program at the Five Star Meridian Hotel. Having helped clients from age 8 to 92; from our average everyday person, to amateur golfers and professional golfers to Olympic athletes, I am ready to help you reach levels of fitness you may never have dreamt possible. One of the original 3 on Time Warner Sports, Encore Golf, Mike still has an active role on camera as well as on the course.

Michael LaNeve

  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Mike has worked as a personal trainer in our facility since 1993, helping hundreds of adults and young people alike reach their fitness and/or performance goals.
  • Mike became certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association after completing coursework in Exercise  Science at SUNY Brockport and SUNY Cortland.

Mike believes that all reasonable exercise or performance goals are attainable with focus and the correct guidance.  He also believes that having a plan and utilizing specific workout formats will ensure continued progress.  Mike has taken a special interest in area athletes, helping individual athletes, coaches & organizations to train in preparation for their particular sport.  Working with athletes to improve multi-directional as well as linear speed is a strong focus for Mike year round.  Mike is an accomplished Powerlifter and Olympic weightlifter, and has also competed in track & field.

Dan Goldberg

While Dan specializes in performance based fitness, he has often designed programs to help clients fit into a smaller pair of pants. Dan’s passion is helping people reach new heights of performance from marathon runners to football players and from triathletes to grandmothers working in the garden.
